With its tall and narrow stone houses clinging to the hill, tightly packed against the other not to toggle into the Vidourle river, Sauve offers a spectacular view.
From the 'pont vieux' probably dating from the 11th century one gets a nice view of the resurgence of the river.
The medieval cityr is remarkably well preserved : narrow dark alleys, vaulted passageways, old stairs, squares surrounded by arcades...The monuments, fierce and powerful command respect : the church, the bishopric, Mole Tower, Hôtel de la Monnaie...
